CARSON AND HIS SHAKY PAWS GRAMPA, the first book in Kirk Hall's Shaky Paws Grampa series, is a story about the relationship and love between a grandfather who has Parkinson's Disease and his seven-year-old grandson. THanks for the well-considered post. I have PD and I use the term "parkies" in certain circumstances for convenience, group solidarity, and as an antidote to grimness. I appreciate the heads-up (so to speak!) that some may find the term offensive.
