To combat the depression and apathy that sometimes accompanies Parkinson’s Disease, I’ve gotta laugh.
Carl Hernz has my sick sense of humor. He is a comedian with Parkinson’s living in Florida. Check out his video, Don’t Let Parkinson’s Disease Frighten You at: http://www.youtube.com/user/carlhernz#p/u/0/GqsxVRNQago
Totally unrelated to Parkinson’s is another funny video, a Geico commercial, Sarge, at:

Within the two minutes it takes to watch these two videos, I’m laughing hysterically and out of my slump.

Love this! Betsy

Kate, you have again proven that you see and hear and react naturally. I ran into a few people, rather sophisticated, who could not make sense of what Carl Hernz is up to.
Carl Hernz is being funny and brave and truthful -- and did I mention funny?
And what he is doing about Parkinson's, with his unique way of looking at it, is wholly original.,
No public advocacy for the cause of fighting Parkinson's has ever been done this way before.
Congratulations, Carl, and thank you Kate, for being right once again.
