I know how self-absorbed (also whining, complaining, bitching and moaning) I can be living with a chronic, progressive, currently incurable disease like Parkinson’s.
It’s refreshing to find a doctor who truly understands chronic illness and attempts to educate patients and doctors from each other's points of view. Check out a recent post, A Letter to Patients with Chronic Illness in the blog, Musings of a Distractible Mind. This blog is created and written by Dr. Rob.
Also if you want to be further educated on chronic illness, check out the comments from his readers which follow this post. And then there is Dr. Rob's response to the comments in My Side.
Dr. Rob is a primary care physician in the Southeastern U.S. A married father of four, Dr. Rob is a gadget guy and loves playing the guitar. His passions include healthcare reform, computerizing the medical office and blogging. "I firmly believe that life is always full of happy things and hard things. The key is to grab both of them at the same time and understand that both of them are important parts of life. I work as a physician and so face some very hard situations regularly."

I love the blog! Keep the edgy humor coming. I appreciate the links your provide also. I added your blog to my blog list (movetolivebeatingparkinsons.blogspot.com) so that others can enjoy your blog, too.
